“No one is above the law – not even the President.” That’s how Washington state Attorney General Bob Ferguson announced that a federal judge had ordered a nationwide halt to the Trump administration’s Muslim ban.

The ruling came in response to A.G. Ferguson’s lawsuit on behalf of the people of Washington to overturn the ban. It was a bold move – Washington was the first state to challenge the ban – that became a catalyst for inspiring acts of resistance across the country. Following Ferguson’s lead, several other states and 97 leading technology companies added their voices in support of the lawsuit.

Despite these success stories, A.G. Ferguson is getting blowback from the president, cable news, and angry right-wing extremists.
