Event Details
What: Fuse Grassroots Leadership Academy, Session 3
When: Thursday June 29, 2017, 6 PM - 9 PM
Where: Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004

The Fuse Grassroots Leadership Academy is a leadership training series which will equip grassroots leaders with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to successfully organize grassroots events, cultivate their volunteer base, develop campaign strategy, fine tune their message, work with the press, and utilize social media effectively. This training series is for anyone working to grow the progressive movement from the ground up, whether you’ve been involved in politics for decades or have been recently mobilized in resistance to the Trump administration. Fuse WA will empower you with knowledge gleaned from a decade of mobilizing heroes and organizing resistance throughout Washington State.

Any grassroots leader knows that how we say something is just as important if not more important than what we say. This third session will train attendees on how to develop your message and how to utilize the heroes narrative to connect with your audience. These fun, interactive sessions will last 45 minutes each with time for questions and group discussion.

Please sign up for this free opportunity using the "ticket" link above. Ideally, each person interested would attend all 5 sessions. If you have questions or comments, please email Fuse Senior Political Organizer Morgan Steele at morgan@fusewashington.org.
